The Shankar Group, a 40-year-old Nepali industrial house, has now started selling mobile phones. The group has introduced the Chinese smartphone brand ‘Realme’ as an authorized Nepal seller.
Shankar Group, which has an industrial business base, has also been aggressive in the trading segment in the last few years. In this context, it has formally introduced Realme to the Nepali market. The group, which operates in cement, Dundee, automotive, financial institutions, hotels, hydropower, and other miscellaneous sectors, has a net worth of US 1 billion.
Along with Realme’s official seller announcement, the company also organized a program for dealers in Kathmandu on Sunday. The company has also announced a number of attractive sales schemes for realm wholesalers and retailers. It has been claimed that no other brand of mobile companies has given such a scheme to the sellers before and till now.
Breaking the problem of illegal entry of smartphones and other products in the Indian market through cheap means, RealMe has stated that the price will be competitive in the Indian and Nepali markets. Due to which the price of realm products in India and Nepal seems to be the same.
Similarly, it has been announced in the program that the gadget will be launched in Nepal at a similar time that the smartphone is launched in the Indian market.
Vice President of Realme and Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of India and Europe, Madhav Seth said that they will do their best to leave the same impression in the Nepali market as well. Seth claimed that Realme will be the top two smartphones in Nepal by 2022.

Which smartphones are going to launch in Nepal?
The company has stated that it will introduce about 10 Realme mobile sets in the Nepali market within the next two weeks. Shankar Group will launch C11 (2021), C20, Realme 8, Realme 8 Pro, Realme 8 5G, Realme X7 Max, Realme GT-ME, and Realme GT.
It is understood that Shankar Group will be the first to launch the C11 (2021) smartphone. In addition, the company has said that it will launch Realme 8 in the Nepali market at a new price.
Shankar Group has announced a 100-day campaign for its retailers. The campaign will run from August 15 to November 24, 2021. Under the campaign, any retailer will be able to sell 2,000 mobile sets during the period, announcing the launch of the Proton Saga.
The Shankar Group has stated that it will give TVS RR 310 motorcycles to those who sell 1,100 units of smartphones. In addition, those selling 800 units will be given 50 grams of gold and those selling 450 units of phones will be given 30 grams of gold as an incentive.
The company has also announced an additional two percent incentive for retailers. Probably any smartphone seller announcing their retailers this is the biggest amount and amount of gift ever given.
RealMe has stated that it will import various audio devices, smartwatches, and other products along with smartphones to Nepal through Shankar Group.
