MAW Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Yamaha motorcycles for Nepal, has launched the BS6 version MT-15. The bike was unveiled at the ongoing Yamaha Maha Exchange Mela at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu.
The price of the bike is NRs 449,900, NRs 454,900 and NRs 459,900. The price of the bike varies according to the color of the bike.
The MT-15 will have a BS5 standard 155 cc liquid-cooled four-stroke SOHC four-valve engine, which generates 18.5 PS of power and 13.9 Nm of torque.
Compared to the MT-15 with BS4 engine available in the market earlier, it has not been modified in any feature other than mechanical. It has a conventional telescopic fork on the front and a monoscope on the back. Featuring a digital instrument console, the motorcycle features LED headlights and ABS.
So far, 180 motorcycles have been booked and one of them was delivered today. Accessories including jackets and helmets will also be provided to the customers who buy bikes.
